This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and services. LemonMarket is currently available in the United States only.

Account Information: • Email address • Display name • Password (encrypted) • Profile photo (optional) • Your baby's name, photo, and age or due date (all optional, for personalization) • Location (city/zip code for pickup) Listing Information: • Item descriptions and photos • Pricing information • Pickup location and zip code • Item condition and purchase history Automatically Collected: • Device type and model • Operating system version • App usage data • Approximate location

We use your information to: • Create and manage your account • Display and manage listings • Enable messaging between users • Process and display reviews • Send notifications about listings and subscriptions • Analyze usage patterns and improve our service • Produce aggregated, de-identified insights to improve the product • Detect and prevent fraud • Comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
With Other Users: • Display name and profile photo • Listings you post (items, photos, descriptions, prices) • Reviews and ratings you post • Messages you send to other users Note: We never share your email address or personal contact information publicly. Service Providers: • We rely on trusted third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, authentication, and notifications. • These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality agreements. • We never sell your personal information. Aggregated & De-identified Data: • We may produce and share aggregated or de-identified statistics that cannot identify you — for example, popular categories, typical price ranges, or demand trends — to improve the product and with partners. • This never includes your name, contact information, or any data that identifies you.

7. Data Retention
Active Accounts: • We retain your data while your account is active Listings: • A listing is hidden from the public feed 45 days after it is posted • A listing is permanently deleted 60 days after it is posted • You can edit or delete your listings yourself at any time Messages: • We keep your chat messages so conversations stay available across your devices • We do not automatically delete messages • Deleting a conversation removes its messages for you Deleted Accounts: • Most data is deleted within 30 days • Some data may be retained for legal compliance • Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained to improve the product
8. Children's Privacy
LemonMarket is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If we discover we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly. While our platform relates to baby products, it is designed for adult parents and caregivers.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence.

12. AI and Automated Processing
We use AI for: • Review summaries: Analyzing and summarizing product reviews • Content moderation: Detecting inappropriate content • Recommendation systems: Suggesting products based on reviews Significant decisions involve human review. AI-generated content is clearly labeled.
13. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app, sending an email notification, or displaying an in-app notice. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
14. Baby & Personalization Data
If you choose to tell us about your baby — a name, a photo, and a birth date (for a child already born) or an expected due date — we use it only to personalize your experience: • Greeting you and your baby on your home screen • Theming the app to your baby's stage • Suggesting age-appropriate listings on your home feed • Filtering the community catalog to relevant items Providing any of this is entirely optional. You can edit or remove it at any time in Settings. We never sell it, share it with other users, or use it for advertising. If you remove it, personalization stops and the related recommendations disappear.
15. Community Requests, Matchmaking & Messaging
Wanted Requests: • You can post a public "Wanted" request describing an item you are looking for • Wanted requests are visible to other users like for-sale listings, including the title, description, optional budget, and ZIP you provide • Do not include anything you do not want to be public Matchmaking: • To connect supply and demand, we match new listings against open Wanted requests using category and keywords • When there is a match, we may show your public request to a relevant seller, show matching listings to you, and send a notification Messaging: • Messages you exchange through in-app chat are stored so the conversation persists across devices • Treat anything you send as shared with the other participant
16. Push Notifications & Alerts
If you enable notifications, we register a device token to send push alerts — for example: • When a new listing matches a category, product, or saved search on your wishlist • When someone messages you • When a buyer matches one of your items You can manage subscriptions and pause individual alerts in the app, and turn off push notifications entirely in your device settings.
